Title: Quality Technician (Electronics)

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate production non-conformances
  • Perform receiving inspection by verifying components were built per documentation
  • Evaluate customer returns (RMA’s) and disposition
  • RMA traveler creation, assembly defect evaluation, rework and repair capabilities
  • Calibration program administrator – schedule for all tools and equipment
  • ESD20.20 program administrator
  • Root Cause/Corrective Action
  • Knowledge support for production personnel
  • Process defect troubleshooting
  • Assist production with process improvements; feedback to suppliers, acquire proper tooling or fixtures
  • Update QMS procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process
  • Be a role model by following and re-enforcing Safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols
  • Assist in verification of Corrective Actions backup

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Electronics assembly knowledge
  • Lean manufacturing training
  • Electronic inspection experience
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates/Technical degree or 5 years Quality Assurance experience
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
  • Electrical testing experience

Minimum Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal/written interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Familiarity with problem solving techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Preferred Competencies:

  • A passion for analytical problem solving
